OUR HISTORY
The dream of combining international travel with a fashion brand began on Rhonda's first trip to France in 1990. She was drawn to the beautiful boutiques, patisseries, and flower markets that dotted the cobblestone streets of Paris. Ever since, Rhonda has felt a connection with the je ne sais quoi of casually elegant European style.
Years later, Rhonda opened a lifestyle boutique offering international wine, pastries, furniture, gifts, home accessories, and a few garments. Feeling disappointed and uninspired by the apparel on the market, Rhonda realized there was a need for a thoughtfully curated, approachable assortment of womenswear that would give women that same je ne sais quoi—an effortless approach to looking and feeling special.
OUR INSPIRATION
In 2016, Rhonda embarked on her journey to founding CobbleStone Living. She hopped on a plane to Italy to develop CobbleStone's debut collection, which quickly became a mainstay in gift and apparel boutiques. Many seasons later, we're bringing CobbleStone Living directly to you through our online boutique, delivering the magic of adventurous elegance straight to your door, so you'll be ready for wherever your next journey takes you.
Rhonda, our founder, draws inspiration, new ideas, and rejuvenation from travel—sentiments that are woven into everything we do at CobbleStone Living. As a lifestyle brand, we've always been focused on making sure that every woman can feel and look amazing for any occasion. Our specialty lies in creating comfortable and elegant European-inspired garments with an added Southern flair.
THE FIRST PIECES
From the beginning, CobbleStone's products have been made in Italy, where Rhonda's meticulous fabric sourcing journey began. Our Italian makers help us craft authentic, artisanal pieces that bring European style Stateside.
One of the first garments to debut was the Cassandra blouse, and to this day you'll see team members wearing this style in and outside of the office! This fan-favorite piece is a part of the silk collection, and it was heavily inspired by Rhonda's travels in Italy. It features a loose silk layer that lays over a soft viscose lining, providing a chic look with ultimate comfort. At the heart of our brand lies the Romantic collection. While studying and observing styles around France and Italy, Rhonda became fascinated with the aesthetic of the Romantic Period.
